Assessment Framework Design
Liberty Source Publishing has over 10 years of assessment design experience to help districts develop a plan for formative and summative testing. Let Liberty Source synchronize an assessment plan into a cohesive and connected data story to assist with instruction and alignment of resources.
Large and small districts need to ensure that all assessment administrators are on the same page and ready for technical and procedural questions. Liberty Source offers targeted sessions to coordinate formative and summative testing plans, including technical troubleshooting and documentation.
Observational Assessment Administration
Let Liberty Source’s experienced trainers guide teachers through the administration of their observational assessments. Sessions for TPRI, Tejas LEE, and C-PALLS walk teachers or TOTs through the administration of tasks, provide guidance for proper administration, and keys to getting the most out of the assessment data.
Liberty Source’s report engine includes 1000s of reports to present assessment data in purposeful ways. Liberty Source trainers conduct sessions that explore participant’s own data to help target next steps and identify resources for remediation and instruction.
Make and Take
Teachers leave sessions with concrete activities for centers, small groups, or whole group instruction. Sessions evaluate the data and help teachers or coaches develop a plan of action and then provide materials and time to put the plan into action.
Unpacking the Standards
Liberty Source’s curriculum team offers interactive and engaging sessions which dive into the Texas student expectations (TEKS) and assessment objectives (STAAR reporting categories). Participants will leave with a better understanding of how to prioritize time and teaching.
Guided Reading Workshops
Using the LION for Reading and LEON de la lectura assessments, Liberty Source reading specialists guide participants in understanding independent and instructional reading levels, foundational skill strengths and weaknesses, and guided reading practices
Levels of Knowledge
Sessions evaluate assessment items within the context of Bloom’s Taxonomy, Webb’s Depth of Knowledge and the Rigor and Relevance Framework. Participants will gain a greater understanding of the similarities and differences between the levels of knowledge and which best support their instructional and assessment goals.
